Indoor/Outdoor Playgrounds

Princess Diana Playground, Kensington Gardens
This is the first of a series of playgrounds to be built across the country in memorial to the late Princess. Made out of wood, the playground is a complete adventure-zone for all kids, especially as it's fully accessible to the disabled. The area has the theme of Peter Pan, in honor of J M Barrie, the author of the children's story, who funded the original site. There are six play areas, including an Indian village, a mermaid's fountain and a huge wooden pirate ship complete with a mast and canon hatches. Right next door is a café offering relief for weary parents.
